Problem
People continuously accumulate digital assets, accounts, subscriptions and online identities throughout their lives, but very few maintain a complete inventory.
When a person dies, relatives and estate administrators often have little visibility into what exists, where assets are held and which obligations remain active.
Investigating a digital estate is largely a manual process that involves analysing emails, documents, transactions and devices to identify accounts, assets, subscriptions and risks.
Objective
Build an AI-powered Digital Estate Assistant that helps people discover, inventory and manage their digital assets throughout life, while enabling estate administrators and executors to efficiently identify, assess and resolve digital estate matters.
The solution should support two phases:
- During life - Discover digital accounts, assets, subscriptions and obligations from available evidence. - Maintain a continuously updated digital inventory.
- After death - Provide a structured view of the deceased person's digital footprint. - Research provider-specific death and estate processes automatically. - Generate communications and document templates. - Support execution and tracking of follow-up actions for estate administrators and executors.
